About The Practitioner

Janice Dompke, LMT graduated from The Massage School in Easthampton, MA in September 2015, and is licensed by the Division of Professional Licensure  of the Commonwealth of MA.  She passed the national licensure exam (MBLEx) in November of 2015.  Modalities covered in her studies include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Shiatsu, and Reflexology as well as segments on facilitated stretching, trigger points and various techniques.  Janice continued her education by earning a certificate in Hot Stone Massage from the Ganesha Institute and Reiki Level 1 in Traditional Usui Reiki in Easthampton, MA

Janice practices client-centered massage which focuses on creating a safe and nurturing environment where the client feels safe and well attended and shares in the decision making process.

After two major car accidents, Janice learned first hand the benefits of massage from pain relief and increased range of motion to the reduction of stress and the effects of isolation that chronic pain can create.

She is a true believer that everyone can benefit from massage by increasing blood and lymph circulation, reducing stress, decreasing pain, and replenishing nutritive materials throughout the body.
